The European Aeronautics Science Network carried out the 4th out of a series of annual specialized Workshops in the fields of Flight Physics and Aircraft Design. The workshop was successfully held on October 27-29, 2014 in the premises of RWTH Aachen University.

Clean Sky 2 and EASN Association carried out a joint Workshop on the participation and role of Academia in Clean Sky 2. The Workshop was held on the 23rd of January 2014 and was hosted at the premises of Clean Sky JU in Brussels.

The 3rd EASN International Workshop on Aerostructures was successfully hosted by Politecnico di Milano from 9th until 11th October 2013. More than 120 participants from Industry, research organizations and Academia attended the Workshop and a total of 90 presentations were performed in 3 parallel sessions.

In the frame of EASN knowledge and innovation dissemination activities, the 3rd workshop organized by the EASN Association aims to offer the Aeronautics community a forum to present and discuss the latest advances in the wider area of Aerostructures, to give an updated state of the art of the research in Aerostuctures in Europe and to present new ideas and innovative concepts for future research and projects.

JTI Clean Sky, in cooperation with EASN and Warsaw University of Technology carried out a 2-day event (September 12-13) in Warsaw, Poland, aimed at presenting the current results of JTI and informing the participants about the ways and opportunities to get involved in the Clean Sky initiative in view of the JTI 10th call for proposals. 55 participants from Eastern Europe attended the event.
