The fourth and last for 2019, EASN Newsletter is now published.

In this last EASN Newsletter issue for 2019, the 1st Announcement & Call for Abstracts for the 10th EASN International Conference on "Innovation in Aviation & Space to the Satisfaction of the European Citizens" which will be held from the 2nd until the 5th of September 2020, in Salerno, Italy as well as the invitation for the upcoming EASN International Workshop on Space on the topic "Implementing the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda for Space: The Academia Response". The workshop will take place in Aachen, Germany, on the 3rd of April 2020 and it will be hosted by the RWTH Aachen University.

Simultaneously and as the EASN Association is entering a new era after the elections of the new BoD, the issue contains a very interesting interview of Prof. Andreas Strohmayer, newly elected EASN Chairman and Prof. Spiros Pantelakis, former EASN Chairman and current EASN Honorary Chairman, in which they share their thoughts on the current status and the future steps of the Association.

In this edition, a report is also included on the 9th EASN International Conference on "Innovation in Aviation & Space", which took place between the 3rd and 6th of September 2019, in Athens, Greece and was attended by more than 450 participants.

Additionally, this fourth issue of the EASN Newsletter for 2019, contains interesting information regarding the progress of the joint efforts of all the European Aeronautics stakeholders to prepare the Clean Aviation Programme as part of "Horizon Europe", the outcomes of the recent EASN NCP and EASN SAB meetings respectfully, as well as the updates regarding the publication of a dedicated book for the "8th EASN - CEAS Workshop" by the AEROSPACE Open Access journal, which includes a collection of important papers presented during the event.

As always, the current issue holds a series of other engaging topics including the latest achievements and results of a number of EU - funded research projects.
