The second EASN Newsletter for 2019 is now published. This edition includes interesting updates on the recent undertakings of the European Aeronautical community, as well as on some of the topmost upcoming news and events.

Initially, in this issue you may find interesting information regarding the TandemAEROdays19.20 which will be held in Bucharest, Romania from 27th to 30th May. EASN is strongly supporting the event and also disposes a booth, where the members of the Board of Directors as well as the EASN National Contact Points will be present and available for short B2B meetings. In this context, please don?t miss to join the EASN exhibition booth (Booth: S40)!

Furthermore, in this issue you may find updates regarding the forthcoming 9th EASN International Conference on Innovation in Aviation & Space that will take place from September 3rd to September 6th, 2019, in Athens, Greece. In particular 9 Keynote Speeches will be provided by distinguished personalities of the European Aeronautics and Space Community as well as more than 70 sessions have been already confirmed. In addition, research results obtained in more than 40 research projects will be disseminated.

This second issue of the EASN Newsletter for 2019 also contains a stimulating interview of Mr. Axel Krein, who introduces his views on aviation research in the frame of Clean Sky 2 as well as in the frame of a prospective Clean Sky 3 on the occasion of his appointment as Executive Director of the Clean Sky 2 Joint Undertaking.

The present EASN Newsletter informs you about the status of the upcoming Continuous Professional Development seminar. This course will take place on June 18th to 20th, in Paris France. This issue informs you also about the outcomes of the recently held meetings of the EASN Board of Directors as well as of the EASN Association NCP Team respectively. Finally, the current issue holds a series of other engaging topics including the latest achievements and results of several EU-funded research projects and members of the EASN Association.
