Your feedback is important!

OPTICS (www.optics-project.eu) is a Coordination and Support Action of the European Commission aiming to assess the progress of Aviation safety research in achieving ACARE goals.

Currently, the OPTICS consortium, led by EUROCONTROL, is collecting statistics on what is referred to as the "feel good factor", i.e. Perceived level of safety in aviation.
To this end, we would be very grateful if you could spend a few minutes answering the below 3 very straight forward questions:

• Do you feel safe when flying? Why or why not?
• Are there any external influences that effect your perception of the level of your personal safety (e.g. weather conditions, aircraft behavior)?
• Do you think that your perception is influenced by your expert knowledge on this topic?

This is very much a personal exercise. Consequently, individual answers will be neutered and used for statistical purposes only should there be confidentiality concerns.
