European Aviation Technology Convention: Europe's Future in Aeronautics and Air Transport

European Aviation Technology Convention: Europe's Future in Aeronautics and Air Transport

May 15th, 2014

4th-5th November 2014
DLR Berlin, Berlin-Adlershof, Germany

In cooperation with the Advisory Council of Aviation Research & Innovation in Europe ACARE and supported by the European Commission, the German Aerospace Association DGLR in cooperation with its European partner organisations of CEAS organises a European two days conference designed as a platform for high level representatives of the European Commission and Member States, research institutions as well as of aviation stakeholders? associations and of industry.

For more than 20 years now the European Union has given high priority to providing aerospace institutions, organizations and industry with a stable political framework to gear up technological and scientific improvements in the European key technology area of aeronautics. The success stories behind European Aviation Visions and ACARE (Vision 2020 as of 2001 and ?Flightpath 2050?, introduced in 2011) impressively underline the fact that Europe has taken the role of the pacemaker setting standards and further goals which only 20 years ago nobody would have even dared dreaming of ? at least not in public.
