The ACARE WG5 workshop on "Education and Training Needs for Aviation Engineers and Researchers in Europe" was successfully carried out on June 13th 2014, at the EC premises in Brussels.

Representatives from the EC, European Industry, Academia and research community, had the chance to get together and discuss on the training needs of engineers both at Academic level, as well as throughout their professional career. Although there is in general no shortage of engineers, specific measures may be needed so as to allow the easier and more efficient integration of engineers in the European Industry and supply chain.
