The fourth EASN periodic Newsletter for 2021 is now published.
This edition includes a discussion, stimulated by the EASN Association, on the expectations from Horizon Europe’s framework; Ten distinguished personalities of the European Aviation Research Community are sharing their views, regarding the issue. Furthermore, this newsletter also contains a very interesting and exploratory interview given by the Head of Unit for Transport Research in the newly shaped European Climate, Environment and Infrastructure Executive Agency (CINEA), Dr. Marcel Rommerts who introduces his views regarding the challenges and the scopes of CINEA. At the same time, a mutual agreement signed by Hellenic Space Technologies and Applications Cluster (si-Cluster) and the EASN Association is presented. The agreement has been performed in order to intensify the cooperation between the two entities in activities related to Aviation, Space and Aerospace. Last but not least, this issue includes the 12th EASN International Conference on "Innovation in Aviation & Space for opening New Horizons" announcement which will take place in Barcelona, Spain from the 18th until the 21st of October 2022. The event is co-organized by the EASN Association and the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya - BarcelonaTech (UPC). As usually, this newsletter disseminates the latest achievements and results of several EU-funded research projects and informs about the latest news of members of the EASN Association.
