The third EASN Newsletter for 2017 is now published.

This issue includes updates on the main recent undertakings of the European Aeronautical community, as well as on some of the topmost upcoming news and events.

First of all, the edition contains the agenda of the 7th EASN International Conference, to be held in Warsaw, Poland, between the 26th and 29th 2017. The final agenda includes 250 technical presentations distributed in approximately 50 sessions.

The 3rd EASN newsletter also includes three very interesting interviews given by distinguished personalities of the European Aeronautical Community:

• Mr. Hannes Ross (Design Advisor and Consultant for the Swiss Project Solar Impulse) narrates the success story of flying around the world with solar power.

• Dr. Christos Vasilakos (Senior Policy Officer in Clean Sky 2 Joint Undertaking) shares with us the concept and the objectives of the Synergies of Clean Sky 2 Joint Undertaking with ESIF.

• Last but not least, Dr. Marien Lubieniecki (Managing Director and Site Leader at GE Engineering Design Center) gives his view on the current scene of the aeronautics sector in Poland, as well as the main goals and objectives of for the near future.

Finally, the current issue holds a series of other engaging topics including the latest achievements and results of a number of EU-funded research projects.
