The third EASN Newsletter for 2016 is now published.

This issue includes updates on the recent undertakings of the European Aeronautical community, as well as on some of the topmost upcoming news and events.

Find inside the agenda of the 6th EASN International Conference, to be held in Porto next month, which contains 11 Thematic Workshops and 28 Technical Sessions.

This Newsletter contains a very stimulating interview of Eric Dautriat who has been leading the Clean Sky Joint Undertaking for 7 years. Also Rui Marcelino, the chairman of the Portuguese Aeronautic Industry Association (PEMAS), sets the scene of the Portuguese Aeronautics and Space Sector.

Furthermore this edition includes several other engaging topics, such as the Workshop on Joint R&D in Adhesive Bonding organised by Fraunhofer IFAM, an update on IFARLink the communication and database platform, a novel "dynamic" epoxy network that has been developed for transportation applications and many more articles including the latest achievements and results of a number of EU-funded research projects.
