European Aeronautics Science Week (EASW) is expected to be an important and highly visited open event which will take place in Universities and research Institutes of the 28 EU countries, on the second half of March 2015.

Be an active part of European Aeronautics Science Week!
European Aeronautics and Air Transport industry is vigorously seeking for talented young men and women to support its constantly growing needs. In this context, the Promo-Air Project, a Coordination and Support Action, financed by the European Commission via the Seventh Framework Programme for research (FP7) attempts to motivate and raise the interest of young Europeans in scientific and technical studies and careers related to aeronautics and air transport. Towards the realization of this aim the Promo-Air project will organize the European Aeronautics Science Week, allowing young Europeans to explore the fascinating World of Aeronautics!

What is European Aeronautics Science Week?
During this week, students will be invited to:

  • Visit a local university or Institute dealing with aeronautical research where they will be offered a tour, a short presentation of the facilities and hand-on experience.
  • Watch attractive educational material with state-of-the-art research results of recent and current Aeronautics and Air Transport projects.
  • Take part in a challenging game competition, the winners of which will win an all - paid visit to Airbus Assembly line in Toulouse France


When & Where
EASW
will take place in parallel in Universities & Institutes located in the 28 European member countries during the second half of March 2015.

Open Call
Several Universities and Institutes around Europe have already reacted positively to this call.
