The first periodic EASN newsletter of 2014 is now published.

The current newsletter includes, among others, important information regarding the upcoming 4th EASN Workshop on Flight Physics and Aircraft Design, as well as an overview of the outcomes of the joint Clean Sky 2 - EASN Workshop.

Furthermore, an interview of Mr. Jean-Louis Bonafe, former coordinator of the SCRATCH initiative for SMEs, is included in this issue. Mr. Bonafe expresses his views on how SMEs can respond in their indispensable role in retaining global leadership for Europe in Aeronautics.

Finally, news from EASN endorsed projects, EASN members and latest news in the aeronautical community are also included.
