In the frame of EASN knowledge and innovation dissemination activities, a workshop dedicated to "Aerostructures" has been organized by the EASN Association in Paris on October 7-8, 2010.

The workshop was kindly hosted at the premises of EADS IW in Suresnes. The aim of the workshop was to offer its participants a forum to present the latest advancements in the area of Aerostructures along with new and innovative ideas for future aeronautics research.

In this frame, scientific and technological achievements from 13 out of 14 FP6 and FP7 aerostructures related projects running at the time of the conference were presented. Furthermore, research advancements made from EASN Interest groups members were presented to the workshop participants as a motivation for possible future research topics. A number of about 120 participants from Industry, research organizations and academia attended the workshop.
