The first draft position papers from the ACARE SRIA Working Groups are available.

According to the terms of reference of the new ACARE, its first mission is to produce a Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) which should be an important element to guide the research and innovation policy and initiatives in the EU and the member states in the coming years.

Five working groups of the new ACARE have been set up to address the needs and priorities for research, technological development, demonstration and innovation in the aviation sector at European level along the five lines identified in "Flightpath 2050":

WG1: Meeting Societal and Market needs

WG2: Maintaining and extending Industrial leadership

WG3: Protecting the Environment and the energy supply

WG4: Ensuring safety and security

WG5: Prioritising research, testing capabilities and education.

The latest reports available will be available for downloading in the "Documents and files" section of the EASN website. The available versions will be updated on a basis of availability until the final versions are available.
