EASN is launching the Expression of Interest campaign to collect innovative project ideas for endorsement in the frame of the 6th FP7 call.

Following the publication of the 5th FP7 call results, where 1 out of 4 EASN endorsed projects (and possibly 1 out of 3 or even better, as there are 2 projects very high in the reserve list) have been funded, compared to the 1 out of 8.3 which was the overall success rate, we are now launching the campaign for selecting the projects to be endorsed by EASN for the next FP7 call. As usual, we are launching the campaign well ahead of the official publication of the call, which is expected in mid-2012. As the available funds for L1 projects will be limited, it is expected that only about 10 L1 projects will be funded in the last FP7 call. This means that only very well prepared and highly innovative projects will have chances for success.
