European Commission launched a public consultation on the preparation of the Clean Sky Joint Technology Initiative under Horizon 2020 and supporting the Clean Sky 2 Impact assessment. Closing date is 4th of October 2012.

Hydrazine/REACH Eurospace Position Paper
Based on the assessments carried out, the European space industry is of the opinion that all propellant-related use of hydrazine for space applications is exempted from REACH authorisation subject to the criteria given in the Position Paper: "Exemption of propellant-related use of hydrazine from REACH authorisation requirement.

Interview of Giuseppe Pagnano about JTI "Clean Sky"
Clean Sky is the most ambitious aeronautical research programme ever launched in Europe. Its mission is to develop breakthrough technologies to significantly increase the environmental performances of airplanes and air transport, resulting in less noisy and more fuel efficient aircraft, hence bringing a key contribution in achieving the Single European Sky environmental objectives.
